The Science Frontier Center was chosen in 2003 as part of the "science frontier promotion project" of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. We engaged in a five-year project up to 2007 on the following three themes related to "research for the creation of environmental energy and utilization technology." At present we are continuing these studies with the addition of work on new research development subjects.
