  • We conduct research on a next generation-type measurement system of biological information from an emaciated person. Our main system measures body temperature. We have proposed a new clinical electrical thermometer that uses an elastic sponge over the thermometer tip,where a thermistor is placed, to fit the axilla of an emaciated person, and a wearable device named a neckband-model clinical electrical thermometer that does not restrict limbs, where a temperature probe is fixed to the neck. Our main research fields are the design of new medical devices and systems.

  • For the effective use of renewable energy, the dynamic energy
    management system is important.
    Our studies therefore focus on digital control techniques for power converters.
    Employing power conversion and control techniques, and latest signal
    processing techniques, we plan the improvement of stability and
    efficiency in power supply systems.

  • Clinical Engineering, Research and Development of the medical treatment instrument, the catheter type blood clot crushing suction instrument
  • Research
  • In medical facilities, the medical treatment instruments are indispensable in performing the tests and treatments. Therefore, it has been made to develop a new treatment instrument from the viewpoint of improving the quality of medical care. In particular I will develop the catheter type blood clot crushing suction instrument that was considering of the efficacy, the operability, and the safety in order to perform rapid treatment.
